Balance is very important and to maintain balance, feet should be at least shoulder width apart. For a taller person, stance should be a bit wider.

Next step is to know where to keep the golf ball. It should be in line with the club that is being used. While using shorter irons, put the ball in the center of your stance. With drivers, woods, and long irons, the ball should be placed at the front of your heel.

While swinging, bend your knees slightly, and remember to keep your spine straight.

Also keep in mind that the swing should be smooth.

Christopher Harney suggests following these simple tips to see improvement in your game.
