Connect the cable to that port which mentions the WAN/Internet. This step ensures the connectivity of the router.
Power the router:
The above steps, establishes the basic connection and ready to use. Turn on the power and wait for the 30-40 sec. this allows the flow of internet in the cable and do not turn on the router before that, once the LED in the router shines, means it is ready to use.
Last step; install the software or the program given by the router in your computer system.
