Trends of the Real Estate Property in Kolkata
Kolkata, the previous capital of Indian sub continent, has always been a charm to live and get settled in. Kolkata, previously named as Calcutta, is one of the largest cities in India and one of the most populated cities as well. If we go in to previous times, let me tell you that it was founded by the British and it was one of the Presidencys that were formed by the british Government. After being named as Presidency and the Capital of India, there has been seen a rise in the market of property in Kolkata.
Kolkata has always been a center of attraction for those who are very much interested in leading a calm and peaceful lifestyle. Kolkata does not disappoint anybody who come to it. There is a life of ease and comfort in the city. The life of Kolkata has 2 phases in one with a posh international flavor and one with a traditional Indian flavor. The International flavor, the brighter side of Kolkata attracts a number of foreign nationals to come and live in the city. The soothing nightlife and a busy commercial district and being one of the main political centers of the country, Kolkata is one of the most calm and attractive places to live for the internal audience. The are a number of residences are being created as residential property in Kolkata.
Kolkata is also being considered as a favorite destination by the people across India. Being one of the centers of the Indian Polity, a herd of people is in a eye to come and live in the city. Specially people from the nearby states and cities of Kolkata seem always very interested in being relocated in Kolkata.
A real estate consultant from the adjacent state Bihar, Mr. Suneel Kumar gave indications that “people from Bihar, specially from the areas that touches the state border of Kolkata are demanding for job and a place to live in the adjoining state”. He added, “ there is long list of these such people that have such demand.” This can be seen as a new trend in the market real estate property in Kolkata.
Another Real estate property dealer from Bangalore, Mr Raveen said that because of high risks in the real estate market of Bangalore, a wide number of people coming from different remote districts of the state are asking for deal for a property in Kolkata.
It can be seen that the real estate property market of Kolkata has been stable for a long period of time. The reason for this stability can be seen as it Communist nature. Kolkata is the only state that has been under a communist rule for a long time after the independence of India.
It is also been stated by many a property dealers/brokers/consultants that the real estate market of the Kolkata city is not very much development friendly because of these communist governments. But still there are some impressive developments taking place after the change of the previous government. Property market is stable in respect of prices but not very much volatile. One can seek safe investments in the city.
