First impressions are extremely important and it can't be denied that the way your office looks and feels determines how the future of the workplace is going to be. Clients, new employees, prospective staff etc. everyone visits the workspace everyday and if the workspace is shabby looking or is not decorated in an organized way it would automatically create a negative impression on the visitor and the onlooker. Therefore, to create positive first impressions about the workspace, it is important that the workspace looks good.

Office reception area is one of the most important areas of the office and the first thing that anyone looks at, as one visits the workspace. Therefore, it really matters how the office reception area looks. Well, of course the whole of the office décor is important but reception area is comparatively more important as it affects the first impressions on whoever visits the place.

A good reception area should have a proper furniture arrangement. Any client or visitor would notice first and foremost the way furniture has been placed in the area. The area has to have comfortable sitting arrangement, center table of optimum size and height, newspaper and magazine holder, tea coaster etc. The area should be done up with beautiful and welcoming paints, wall décor, bright cushions, fascinating lights and curtains etc. However, it becomes significant to understand that the office reception shouldn't anyway appear to be too bold and too shocking. It should be well-decorated, organized but shouldn't have a very high shock value.

Another important aspect of reception décor is that the décor should be strong and sturdy. The décor shouldn't be too delicate or very high maintenance. The décor has to be such that not only does it look beautiful but it also has strength. Decorative laminates are an interesting option for office furnishing. The decorative laminates not only fulfill the aesthetic purpose for the reception area but are also strong furnishing items as opposed to delicate corner tables that are not at all a practical option for a workspace. Countertop laminates, moreover are a great option for the rest of the workspace. The entire workspace can be done up with countertop laminates to ensure stable and strong furnishing in the whole of the office space. Gloss laminate on the otherhand is a great idea for the reception area. The reception area would dazzle and look absolutely posh and stunning with gloss laminate furnishing.
