The Rom is a spectacle that passes mysterious hidden behind a cloak and prompted by the rhythmic music played by a Tam-Tam, the largest instrument in the world standing. Other festivals worth attending are diving from the ground or the festival of Nagol April to June, Fanlo Festival of the Arts Festival Pankumo circumcision (the ancient rite of passage from boys to men) in August, and Special Maewo Cultural Festival in September.
