Sweden - Arctic Tourist Attraction

Tourist Destinations is a travel blog which main goal is to present to its visitors the worlds best destinations trough useful information's and quality images. The main reason we have started this blog is the desire we all have to present the world to other people and i am guessing mostly because none of us can afford to see all the places he wants. I believe this is one way to see the world, at least trough pictures.

At this article i will give you some details about Sweden. Personally i think that Sweden is one of the best countries to live in Europe. Maybe this is because i like their climate and weather conditions. Some will not share my opinion. Anyway, Sweden has some than 200 ski resorts, ranging from family resorts, with children’s facilities and activities, to larger resorts with a buzzing nightlife, restaurant and bar scene. Then there are the more exotic resorts of the far north for the more daring among us, with heli-skiing and powder skiing in the wilds of Lapland – Europe’s last wilderness.

The ski resorts of Sweden stretch from Riksgränsen in the Arctic Circle, in the far north, down the backbone of the Swedish mountains in the north-west, and then wind east into the county of Dalarna. And with its northerly latitude, most ski resorts guarantee snow between Christmas and Easter. So you can ski in Sweden against a backdrop of the Midnight Sun, and the kaleidoscopic curtain of the Northern Lights.

Stockholm has always been a city of surprises and discoveries. Compared to Rome or Paris, Stockholm, Sweden has had a rather staid, clichéd image. It's the "Venice of the north;" it hosts the annual Nobel prize ceremony; everybody sings ABBA songs and lives surrounded by cool Swedish design. But best-selling writer Stieg Larsson has rocketed Stockholm to the top of the list of most popular European cities through the exploits of computer hacker Lisbeth Salander, better known as the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Kalmar, in the south-east of Sweden situated by the Baltic Sea. It’s a small city andsurrounded by water. Few cities in Sweden has natural beach and Kalmar is one of them.During summer, a lot of people go there and do parties with families and friends. In Sweden,every city has its own kommun that is municipality, they organised this beach in a very goodway. They provide the facility of grilling, playing beach volleyball and the small huts that Ilike very much. There is also the jumping pad, from there people jump in the water. The mostattracting view of the castle situated close to the beach. It was built by the first King MagnusLadulås in the beginning of eleventh century. It has five massive towers, which were built in11 century. The castle has a lot of antics that were used by the different kings during their ruling periods. The thing that attracts me a lot was the old guns and different ammunitionsused in the war saved from different centuries. Another exciting place is the Kalmar Museum,which has a lot of antics preserved since the last few centuries. It has a lot of golden crowns,old fashioned guns, mostly made up of wood and old paintings.

This is what i have for now, i will be back soon with new articles. This one is my first one so i don't know how people will accept it, once i find out, i will know what do do in future.
