Swayam Siddhi College of Management and Research will host its first management festival, Rupantaran, on Saturday and Sunday. The festival will not just be a great opportunity for students of Swayam Siddhi College, it will also be a great platform for 75 colleges from Thane district too. This two-day management festival will start from January 21. There will be 28 events on art, music, dance, sports, and general knowledge where students can participate.
Taking into consideration the fact that it is a management studies college, there are many management events like extempore, fast-and-furious brainstorming, business quiz among others. At the same time, since extra-curricular activities are important, there will be events like dancing, music, rangoli, mehendi, tattoo-making, poster-making, t-shirt painting among others.
In sports events, there will be activities like volleyball, box cricket, chess, carom, tug-of-war among others. The highlight of this festival is a performance by a rock band and a fashion show which students in the college are eagerly waiting. Another attraction of this festival is that students will get to listen to experts from the corporate world. Management gurus
like Rooshikumar Pandya, Sharu Ranganekar and R Gopalakrishnan, ad guru Pralhad Kakkar, human resources guru Dr PN Singh will provide valuable guidance and tips.
Such festivals make sure that the students get to showcase their managerial skills as they organise these events and also get a chance to showcase their artistic skills in such festivals.
