It has good sunshine and good snow – marks of an ideal ski resort. The skiing season usually is from mid December to end of March. Gulmarg is well suited for learning skiing as it has some of the best slopes for beginners. To make things easy there are ski lifts and chair lifts. Good quality equipment is available on hire. There are also services of trained instructors available. You can also engage in other snow sports and related activities.
