There is not a single field where computers do not play an important role. Especially the Internet and its latest advancements are changing the face of today’s generation. It is like a huge library where one can get all the information that is needed. Basically the internet is a system where numerous computer networks are connected to one another to serve billions of users worldwide. It basically originated in the 1960s and was commercialized in the 1990s. Today it is a part of normal human life especially in the urbanized society.
The most recent advancement in this area is the extremely high speed internet. It is one of the latest inventions in the field of internet and its roots are taking turns and gradually spreading all over America. It goes on creating an impact over each and every city. These days, people are on the lookout for extreme speed when they want to download their favorite movies or games online. It slowly underwent a series of changes and was delivered commercially to the world by standardizing Internet protocol suite. Only after this stage did the concept of worldwide networks came into picture.
The national science foundation developed the computer science network and super computers were developed. Basically these types of computers are used in scenarios which involve high level computing and more intense tasks. The use of super computers is confined to quantum physics, weather forecasting, climate research, Oil and gas exploration, molecular modeling and physical simulations. Commercial internet service providers began to create waves in the 1980s. Just look at where we have reached today. In today’s world, there is no need to even wait for appointments to install internet connections. With latest advancements such as xfinity Internet, we can say that technology has risen to a whole new level.
