With the rise in the obsession for sports, the trend of watching matches together with friends at lounges also increases.

This is one of the rising trends in the world of bars that combines people’s two favorite things; sports and drinks.

But, if you think that you just have to open a lounge for it to be popular then you are wrong. Proper branding is essential if you want a competitive edge over others.

For that, you need to use the right images, fonts and colors for your sports bar logo to be appealing to customers.

1. What images should you use?

Use images in your brand mark that are related to sports. You can either concentrate on one particular game or you can use different games together. For example, if your lounge name contains two Os then you can substitute a basketball or a tennis ball for the letter O. Another idea is to club all the sports equipment images together and combine it with an illustrated background of the beach or a stadium.

You can also let the personality of your location reflect through. For example, if you are opening the bar in Hawaii, then how about an image of a football with the palm trees in the back ground. If your bar is in Canada then you can use an image of a moose or a bear with an ice hockey stick or puck in the monogram.

2. What shapes to use for logo border?

Just like a professional athletic team, you can also use thick borders for your monogram to resemble a games badge or crest. For that you can either opt for the traditional round symbol or you can choose something contemporary like a triangle or a diamond. You can also use the shape of a baseball or a star for your emblem.

3. What colors and effects should you use?

Use bright colors for your trademark that are eye catching and attractive. You can use colors like red, blue, black, yellow or green. Just make sure that you go through the psychological effect that these colors create and the meaning you want them to portray. For example, red energizes its viewers and quickens heart beat which makes it a perfect color for a games emblem. Similarly green is calming and soothing.

4. What fonts should you use?

For bar logos, you have quite an amount of creative freedom to use the font styles that you want. You can either use thick and straight fonts that represent authority and power or you can use slightly script fonts so that your brand mark appears to be playful and fun.

In conclusion, you can also make sure that your logo is an inspiration for the décor you use for your lounge interior.
