Fire extinguishers are to be handled with lot of safety, as they contain certain chemicals and are a great source of help to control the mishap.
One such type of fire extinguisher is CO2 fire extinguisher which contains carbon dioxide gas. These are not extensively used in case of normal fire catch in a place where people stay. Some are heavy while some are light. It depends on the requirement of the situation. CO2 fire extinguisher is also known as electrical extinguisher. When it is used, it just extinguishes the fire; it does not harm the other things like machines, food, etc... Actually what happens is, that, when this type of extinguisher is used it does not leave any residue of the carbon dioxide.
As mentioned earlier, they can be light weight as well as heavy weight.
