Corrugated and folding Carton Box Customization: Paramount Container
Author: Steven22 | Posted: 22.05.2012Corrugated boxes and folding cartons are two of the types of containers that tend to be very common in the container and packaging world, such as with Paramount Container in California, and also newly expanded to Indiana. Professional corrugated boxes come in thick, durable cardboard as do our folding cartons. They are very popular because they are reliable, standard, and can be thus used for a great variety of applications for any type of business. But the thing that really makes a corrugated box or folding carton stand out is the printing and imagery on their sides! This article will tell you a little about box printing processes.
This printing performed on most standard boxes can be customized and designed based on anything you’re looking for. Box specialists will work with you to create a great design that will satisfy your needs. Then it will be determined if you want to use litho lamination or else regular, direct printing onto your boxes or cartons, which are main ways to print.
With litho-lamination, you’ll get a very vibrant and lasting look to your boxes and cartons. It is extra glossy and highly visible because the design is printed on a separate sheet or surface and then is laminated onto the side of the box. This type of printing may be slightly more expensive than regular printing, yet it will provide you with a great look if you have your corrugated boxes or folding cartons in a very visible location for your customers.
If you think, however, that you’ll be fine without that extra polished finish, you can use our direct ink printing process. This gives a good look to the boxes but naturally won’t be as vibrant because you’ll be putting it directly onto the side of the brown box. The ink dries quickly and will not run, so you you’re looking for a quick design on your box where appearance isn’t the biggest deal, you’ll have success with regular printing.
Both types of printing work very well on the corrugated boxes and folding cartons, too, because these types of containers are not very complicated and they have large, smooth and flat surfaces on which to print. You never have to smash anything together. The design has a lot of space to move and be expansive.
