In the past, the only way to control the temperature of a place was with the help of windows and doors. This method of controlling the temperature is used everywhere today as well. But with the development of Science and Technology, now we can have the sensation of a cool environment in summer and warm in winter just with the help of a button. This became possible only due to the invention of air conditioners. Air Conditioner (often called ‘AC’) is an appliance which controls the inside temperature of a small area or a room by extracting the heat from that area. The major work of an AC is to change the air temperature either by refrigeration or by evaporation method.

If we look about the invention of AC, the first step was performed in the 18th Century. Today, we can find this invention operated in our day to day life. In general sense, the work of an AC is Air Conditioning. It is the process of changing the property or state of air, either from hot to cool or cool to hot. Therefore, air conditioning simply can be understood as the process of removing the hotness or coldness from the air as desirable. But this is not applicable practically in a huge area. Because of this reason air conditioning is mainly found to be operated in offices and houses. The process of changing the humidity of air of a room is called room air conditioning. Today people are attracted in having AC at their homes as well which is the major reason behind the success of air conditioning sales. But many people using AC are not satisfied with the air conditioning installers and air conditioning installation. People blame that the installers charge very high rate for the installation of AC. Hence, AC has become one of the part of our living and it can also be the basic need for the upcoming generations as the whole world is facing the effects of Globalization.
