CISRS Safety Training Course on Scaffolds

With the progressive lifestyle that is enjoyed by most communities, it is not surprising that coveted certifications such as CISRS are highly in demand.
Such certifications are industry recognized and lauded to assure the industry and society of the safety and health issues at the work site during and after the construction. CISRS certified scaffolding inspectors are highly sought by the construction industry which needs to comply with the local authorities’ high safety and health standards at the work site during any property or tower construction, erection, dismantling, usage or alteration.
The coveted CISRS Scaffolding Part 1 certification course emphasizes on safety training on general scaffolding information, skills and scaffold types with CISRS Scaffolding Part 2 emphasizing the inspection process on advanced systems scaffolding.
CISRS Part 1 Learning Contents
Course candidates would need to complete CISRS Scaffolding safety training Part 1 before qualifying for CISRS Scaffolding Part 2 on inspection. This Part 1 course instructs candidates on health and safety legislatures while creating an awareness of the pertinent issues in construction. This course also introduces ladder access methods and styles to scaffolds with manual handling.
The candidates would be taught to identify the relevant scaffolding products in approved pre-fabrication components while learning how to interpret drawings and tie methods of scaffolding. There would be the teaching on the proper methods of erecting, dismantling, using and altering independent access scaffolds, birdcage scaffolds, tower scaffolds and putlog scaffolds.
Scaffolding equipment
CISRS course candidates would be exposed to the right type of scaffolding equipment that is used in any scaffolding activity. Candidates must wear the proper PPE or personal protective equipment during the course practical sessions to get a feel of their movements and the benefits of the PPE.
This safety training course would have the necessary harness and lanyard where candidates can get a feel of their functionality and benefits. However, course candidates need their own hard hat and safety boots for all the practical sessions of this course with the necessary tools and high visibility vest. Tools by the candidates include a swing-over spanner, belt and frog, level and tape measure. These can be easily purchased at the academy or local hardware shop.
Other aspects
Although this is a full day course for 10 consecutive days, no food, accommodation or transport is provided. Course candidates would need to have extra budget to take care of their meals and transportation on a daily basis. Accommodation can be assisted for out of town candidates.
