The important places that covered during chardham tour are:

Haridwar: Located on the foothill of shivalik range, just on the right bank of river holy Ganga. It is the place where Ganga meets the plain. Haridwar is also considered as the gateway of chardham yatra.

Mussoorie: It is situated on the foot hill of Garhwal Himalayan ranges which are also famous by the name of Queen of the Hills. It is just 35 Kms away from the state capital Dehradun.

Yamunotri: As we all already know that it is the origin source of river Yamuna. It is one of the four sites of chardham circuit. The source of river yamuna lies 1 km ahead from the Yamunotri Dham at an altitude of 4421 meters, which make accessibility extremely tough.

Uttarkashi: Uttarkashi is a district famous for Gangotri and Yamunotri Temple and also famous as trekking and mountaining resort as glacier that leads to many peaks of Himalaya.

Harsil: On the way to Gangotri, Harsil is a village situated on the bank of river Bhagirathi.

The temple is in three part Garbha Griha (Sanctum Sanctorum), Darshan Mandap (for Pujas) and Sabha Mandap(for devotees to assemble.

Kedarnath: It is holy for both vaishnavites and shaivites. The jyotirlingas of this shrine is one of the twelve renowned jyotirlingas of lord shiva. Near the Kedarnath city there is a sanctuary named “Kedarnath Sanctuary”, was established in the year of 1972, Surrounded by the breathtaking view of covered peaks of the Himalayas along with the glaciers, rivers and valleys.

Valley of Flower: according to Hindu epic Ramanya. It is the place form where lord hanuman collect sanjivani buty to revive Laxmun the brother of Lord Ram.

In Indian pilgrimage are situated at inaccessible mountains, island and caves. There is tough way to go. But in the age of Science and Technology human raise facility for everything. Now a day its not too tough to access these pilgrimages.
