Chromebook is computer system which has Google’s chrome running as a operating on it. It has a great battery life and can be used for many purposes but sometimes it may be difficult for some persons to connect the chrome book to the Wi-Fi as they are not able to find the connections and services which are to be activated or sometimes they are not able to know which connection to get connected.

To connect chrome book to the Wi-Fi in a network we must follow some steps so that we can easily get connected to the Wi-Fi connection.

First of all we should find the network icon on the upper right hand corner and click it to open the network settings.

After opening the network settings we will be able to see a lot of available networks. We can choose the network which we want to connect. One thing that we should take care about is that there will be a lot of detected networks but we have to choose only specified network. Also if we are not able to see the Wi-Fi connections we must make sure that the Wi-Fi of the chrome book is enabled. We can select the available connection to connect but if we are trying to connect to the secured connection, we will not be able to connect until we enter the password for it.

We must take care that if we want to connect to the hidden network or other network which has been not shown in the list of the available networks, we can select other Wi-Fi networks which are available in the list and can enter the connection ourselves.

We have to enter the network name i.e. SSID and also select the security type which we want to connect with the chrome book. There are many types of securities available like WPA, WEP and RSN we can select the specific type of security which synchronize with our network and computer system. While selecting the security type we have to enter the password for it also and it must be taken care of that the characters of the password that we enter are case sensitive so they should be entered with care and must be reminded for future use.

Thus we are ready with our chrome book working with the Wi-Fi connection that we want to connect.
