It was twenty years ago that I happened to find myself in Huddersfield, in the north west of England. It was to attend the wedding of a friend of the family and to be honest I had to be influenced by a large bribe before I agreed to go. The reason was not that I had anything againstthe wedding but the just the idea of spending three days in such a tiny town filled me with dread. However I recently had to re-think all my prejudices since my son was transferred there by his company and we spent a lot of time looking at properties in the area and all the BMV deals Huddersfield had to offer. We managed to see a lot of the countryside.

The negative side to this is that these are the very people who are most likely to be taken in by con artists and unscrupulous dealers.

Alternatively you may wish to avail the services of an independent financial advisor who is obliged to give you all the information you need regarding the different deals and packages available, as well as to guide you if you do not understand any aspect of the financial situation.

Going back to the BMV deals Huddersfield has to offer and I can tell you that my son managed to obtain an excellent deal through an online agent. He found this to be the easiest way to search since he was too busy to come up and physically look at all the properties and estate agents himself. Once he had selected a few possible houses, we visited Huddersfield and checked them out. I wish I could say that I was happy about his transfer but although a lot has changed in twenty years, I still did not relish the idea of having to spend so much time there. Still, you have to make sacrifices to see your grandchildren.
