The politics of India, the largest democracy in the world is now constantly under threat in the political scenario. It has now been on the verge of losing its prestige of presenting a flawless political scenario with the best minds of the country ruling it. It has not been the case since the glory of independence has began to fade from the public sight. The politics has begun to take an ugly turn and it has much to do with the Criminalization in Indian politics. Politics has been transformed into a power house that gives absolute power. This has in turn facilitated the criminal minds and the corrupt individuals to take to cue and go for an all out selling of the posts in lieu of money. This has made today possible as number of criminals contesting and also winning the elections are mind boggling.

In the open space there is always and unanimous decision to make Indian politics crime free and there should not be any tickets for anyone having a criminal record. But the common man questions…is this the reality? Is this what we see every other day in the newspapers and flashing news in the television? No is defiantly going to be the answer. What are we actually doing with this huge number of criminals governing us and the country? Well the answer however ironical it might be there is Criminalization in Indian politics. May be it is only about getting the votes. Here only the numbers matter for the political parties. The criminals are a safe bet in that case. With their huge network they can easily manipulate and threaten people to caste in favour of them. This scope is making the problem go haywire for the public in general.

The frequency at which newspapers are supplying news of MLA’s and MP’s getting arrested for various cases that ranges up to any extent and even arrested for non bail able offences. Criminalization in Indian politics are making the headlines and that has bring forward the question that if the kind of democracy India is so proud of is indeed the right one. The most potent problem in front of the government is to make India free from this. But will it actually happen? Who is going to do this so important yet difficult job? Alas! The question will remain unanswered and there is serious questions regarding the true intention of any political party to undo this.
