By Osa Subscribe to RSS | January 16th 2012 | Views:

Parents are found to be participating in their kids’ birthday party, accompanying them to the amusement parks and even to the game parlors as well. Now, the question is why do not many of them show their interest to their kids’ education? Well, parents who do not take part in their childrens’ education do not realize that what harm they are doing to their kids in this way. A slight support from parents can make wonders to their kids’ life, because kids find their world in parents. Their all worries vanish when they discuss the problems with their parents. Children are much dependent on their parents, therefore when they find support in education from their parents; it helps them to boost up their confidence level.

Schools are familiar with the fact that parents have the first and most important control on their kid’s learning and that their sustained contribution in their kid’s education is significant if they are to attain the best probable learning results. It is also a fact that students whose parents are interested and involved with their education do better at school. While most of the parents may be concerned with their child’s learning at home, they can also contribute some of their time by participating in the school council, and also can join the parent club, and even can get in regular touch with the less formal school activities.

Concern about their kid’s education will most likely change as their kid moves through every phase of schooling.Almost all the parents of primary and play school students are often are worried if their kid will be able to fit in socially and if they will feel secure and content at school. It is quite natural if the parents are concerned about their kid’s academic growth and how it competes with the other students of the same age group. When the children of secondary level change their school, their parents often worry, if their child will be able to adapt socially and academically with the atmosphere of their new school.

They will wish to know that your child is interactive and encouraged in the classroom, and if they are glad and safe. Parents also take care of their talents, if recognized or not.

Parents should never forget that their role does not end only after admitting their kids in the best school of the city, neither they can be over dependent on the school and expect the school authority to take care of their kids.

To see on the teachers’ part, it is also not possible for them to keep an eye over every student of the class. Therefore, in such cases, parental participation in kid’s education is very necessary. In fact, kids also get that invisible pat on their back when they find their parents to be taking active participation in their everyday homework and what has been taught in the school on a daily basis. By sparing a little time, you can help your kids to do wonder with their annual school report cards.
