You can make them understand by sharing your goodies with the kids like “I am sharing my cookie with you” to make sure that next time you will share with me. When the child don’t share the things for the first after your explaining, don’t get annoyed instead take it in a fun way because they are child and they are too young to understand the truth of life. They will definitely understand the thing but gradually. You can introduce some pictures books about sharing during the reading time with your kids. There are beautifully quoted books which give the sharing message. During this time you can only talk about sharing and tell them about the situations that how the person feels with whom the children don’t share.

This doesn’t mean they are selfish or have spoilt behavior but they are simply acting their age. Very few children react well when someone takes their things. So, parents should not give up as there is a several way to teach the child the depth of sharing. The solution to this is that you can train your child to share. For this purpose, imitation is the best tool. You have to make sure that you always share with whoever is around, make it clear what you’re doing and ask your partner, friends and family to do it too, your child will see it as a normal thing that everyone does. There are many parents in this world who have no choice but to have siblings share the room. They have a perception that if their kids share their rooms then they will have a close relationship. They will learn to stay in groups and the quality of their relationship will develop further.
Sometimes the question also arises whether the idea of room sharing is favorable to maintain the family peace. Kids always have a problem when things are not done harmoniously inside the room. There is always problem when one wants to do something and the other is against it being done. When Kids are made to share a room, it helps them adjust with their roommates at a hostel later on. They also learn to adjust with the environment of the school and learn to share things with the friends. Teaching a child to share is an important step in making him friendly, well behaved and selfless towards other children or the siblings.
