Is financial planning the career for you?
Financial planner, personal financial consultant, financial advisor - the name may be many, but the real job is one, in the disguise of so many names, that is selling the financial products. Even though the job goes by so many names the real task, the real purpose behind the fancy names lies the same, the aim is to sell all the financial products made available by the market and investment giants, these companies are ever available with new financial products and the financial services need to sell them as much is possible. Another aspect of the presence of such giants in the market and is encouraged by the government due to its capability of uplifting a slow moving economy of a nation and equipping it with a steady and a regular growth. This is why countries welcome financial giants and the major best investment options brought along with open hands. This in turn creates a lot of opportunities for the aspirants in the market, economy and employment options in the nation.
Helping the needful to utilize their financial assets by applying the available financial products and help the citizen participate in the growth of the nation is one of the main roles of a financial planner. The job does not only comes as an aid for the company that sells the financial products and increase the turn over but also for the buyer whose profits and future financial security grows many folds. The nation being benefitted is a bonus in the job satisfaction and the remuneration that the financial consultant receives is one of the best among all the other categories in the hierarchy, rather the job pays as much as that is considered as the creamy layer of the hierarchy. And this obviously acts as the cherry on the cake, the financial growth; name and fame that one can get in this job sector are the most attractive medium that attracts the young and the old.
What else can one ask for, a careful and a fruitful financial planning for the client and you have a luscious and healthy career at hand. The financial planning and analysis may seem easy to the ears but the reality is too far from what it seems. Comfortable, easy and simple are terms that are too far away from the job description of the financial consultant. A lot, and I mean a lot, is at stake when a client approaches your services in planning analysis and investment of his or her money, sometimes hard earned and sometimes the easy money. Hard or easy, the money of the client entrusted upon you to make it grow cannot in any circumstances be handled without care. The job does not provide the space of the margin of error in most of the cases. No matter how glamorous the job is considered in our society, the responsibilities are not to be taken lightly. Rather the responsibilities on the shoulder will be tremendous as it is a high pressure job. Disappointed clients are not an option.
