Do not INVEST IN CETES INVERTIR EN CETES when economic reports higher inflation
I sometimes wonder if people can read on Mexico, it is said everywhere that only a fool would INVEST IN CETES. should do more to seek information before making an investment. Most people have an aversion to risk on investments, and may be legitimate, because of the possibility of losing. However INVEST IN CETES no chance of winning.
We have to assimilate that Cetes is the Mexican government's sovereign bond, this does not mean we have a secure income is a fixed income, but not safe. If we see the situation of European governments today, we realize they are having difficulties with their payments, Greece simply this delaying the payment of government bonds which is the reason European economic problem. In summary, there is no secure income, so there is the bond that is different.
Today is publishing the Mexican state boldly that the average inflation in recent years is 5% per year, if we see today cetes is giving a yield of 4.40% per annum, then we are going to lose 0.6% per year from equity to choose INVEST IN CETES, that's without considering that the devaluation of the peso has been 20% this year. It is a fact, one must be stupid to INVEST IN CETES.
Why investors put their money in cetes? We should not shock us with this situation. As in other countries sovereign bonds central banks set the interest rate in areas where stakeholders often lose money or earn almost nothing. Which tells us that there may be interest, and so, if you are a widow living on their pensions or retirement you refuse to lose some of your savings in your life, then they have the idea of keeping the value of your money for the few years of life left to them.
If you're not that kind of person forget INVEST IN CETES, investment that suits you is more variable income, by investing in cetes never really actually grow your money. Knowing the performance for your money you should have a simple task and you need not be a financial expert.
First any interest below 5% a year is wasting time. Second if your monthly income does not cover your monthly expenses, the problem is not savings but your income. And finally you should consider your investment, no matter the amount, you must generate annually at least 6 months of your salary. So if you save some you have to take greater risks to make profits that will grow your money.
