Indoor fountains come in many styles to enhance the décor of your home. Placing a wall fountain in an entryway gives your guests a feeling of warmth and welcome them to your home. The entryway is where all opportunities come to us, so placing a fountain a wall fountain enhances the “chi” in your home. One must be careful to place the fountain with the flow of water toward the door, not away from it. This ensures that the good “chi” comes into your home and not out of it which produces a healthy and wealthy home. Indoor water fountains offer many positive aspects for the home adding peace and tranquility to almost any part of the home.

Another really great place for an indoor fountain is in a home office. Just because an office is in a home does not mean that there are no stresses associated with it. A really nice tabletop or wall fountain in a home office helps alleviate some of the stresses and soothes the nerves associated with running a business out of the home. The peaceful water sounds of indoor tabletop fountain can change a silent, sterile office into a soothing comfortable atmosphere where you enjoy working making it a more productive workplace. Experimenting with the rate of flow of the water, you can create the water sounds that are the most conducive to a productive office space.

Most any other room in the home can be made suitable for adding an indoor fountain. The living areas, dens and sun rooms are most suitable for a tabletop fountain, wall or floor fountain, depending on the area that is available. Floor fountains come in a variety of materials ranging from ceramic to polyresin, making them lightweight to move to any desired location within your home. If the water fountain is not a lighted fountain, you can provide a mesmerizing aura by placing the indoor water feature in direct lighting for a dramatic visual effect. In the evening hours, it can create a beautiful visual show with the lights and shadows on the flowing water.

Indoor waterfalls keeps the air fresher with the action of the falling water replicating the same action of the air produced near a natural waterfall. The fresh air that is produced near a waterfall is a result of the negative ions that is produced from the falling water. The negative ions are formed as the water falls and churns. Air that has higher levels of negative ions is healthier and makes it easier to breathe. So having an indoor waterfall in your home or office not only adds to the soothing peacefulness that is so evident, it also has underlying positive health benefits.

If additional humidity in your home is a concern adding an indoor fountain will help increase the humidity levels. If the humidity in your home is a major concern, then adding a larger floor or wall fountain may be a better choice. You want to select a fountain that has a larger exposed water area to evaporate into the air, and at the same time, be certain to check the water level often to avoid burning the water pump.

Whatever your reason for including an indoor fountain in your home, ultimately you will reap the benefit of enjoying a more soothing atmosphere from the falling waters of an indoor water feature.
