Types of Combi Boiler
Combi boilers have revolutionized the domestic heating system and water boilers by combining both the activities in single equipment. These boilers are not only space saving but are also efficient. Regardless of the home size, combi boilers have proved to be excellent for domestic heating as well as hot water on demand. You have heard so much about this new technology and are also eager to use this, however, are you aware of the various types these boilers are available in? Do you know the most suitable type of combi boiler for your home? Here are the details for your ready reference.
The very first type is combi instantaneous gas boiler, which is the most popular model. The name of this model is self-explanatory. It immediately heats up incoming cold water from the main tank and supplies the same to your bathrooms and kitchen area. This is achieved by the use of gas as a fuel, which heats up the water within few moments.
Next in the line is combi instantaneous condensing boiler. This boiler works almost on the same principle as the above-mentioned model but with extra efficiency due to the use of condenser.
Third type is combi (storage) boiler and is also a variant of the above-mentioned types. The designing of the boiler makes it extra efficient. Unlike the 2 models mentioned above, this boiler stores the heated water, after the consumption of which, it works like the instantaneous model. The water storage will depend on the make and size of tank, which can vary widely. This type is however huge in size as compared to other types but the storage of boiled water insures quick disposal on demand and it also saves energy that might get consumed in instantaneous model.
Fourth in the segment is combi storage condensing boiler. This is also a very popular model, which operates almost on the same principle as above-mentioned models but with much greater efficiency. It combines the benefits of both the types of combi boilers.
Last but surely not the least is Combined Primary Storage Unit abbreviated as CPSU. This efficient model falls under the category of storage combi. It has a large water storage tank that offers a high water flow rate and keeps storing the heated water even before the previous stock is over.
You can select the right type of Combi Boilersas per your budget and requirement. Ensure that the installation work is done by professionals only so there are no chances of fault at any stage. And be careful while using it because heating system can be hazardous if not used in proper way. Keep in mind factors like number of people in your family, space available at your home, and the dimension of the room you are going to install combi boilers for.
