The Unhygienic Particles in Your Atmosphere (And the Damage They Do)
If you have just given your property a thorough spring clean and gone around with dusters and vacuums, then you might be looking around feeling pretty pleased with your work – and you might even think that it is completely hygienic with surfaces so clean that you could eat off of them.
Unfortunately for most of us that simply isn't the case. You see there are countless types of germs, dirt and bacteria that exist in our properties even after we have given them a thorough clean, and the only way to get them completely clean is to use professional services. Here we will look at why precisely this is the case, and the types of mess and bacteria we can expect in our properties and why home cleaning is so important.
First of all, if you have only vacuumed or brushed your carpet then you will find that it is still filled with bacteria and dirt. This is because the carpet is made of carpet fibers, which are deep enough to hide small bits of dirt and debris. In order words, running a vacuum cleaner over the top layer of these fibers isn't going to be enough to completely remove the particles that are trapped all the way in the bottom leaving your carpet full of things that settle on it. And what settles on a carpet? Nothing short of dust, dirt, dog hair, germs and dead skin which comes away from our bodies all the time. Not nice. Professional carpet cleaning services are the only methods thorough enough to completely remove this problem, while getting regular domestic cleaning can at least ensure it is cleaned as often as possible.
Likewise the sideboards and cupboards in your home will need regular disinfecting. The reason for this is that they too can otherwise harbour germs and bacteria and this gets transferred from people's skin when they touch them. You might think that no one who has been to your home would be unhygienic enough to contaminate your sideboards etc, but you would unfortunately be wrong. The problem is that actually 1/3rd of the healthy population carry the staphylococcus virus on their skin without any side effects. This then causes no harm, until it comes into contact with a wound for instance or a hair follicle at which point it causes skin infections.
So if you have had more than three guests round since you last did thorough home cleaning for all of your surfaces, then you will be statistically very likely to have bacteria existing still on them that could cause serious illness. And this isn't to mention the other viruses such as influenza which can also survive in the air and on the surfaces.
Finally domestic cleaning and home cleaning services can also help us to remove other particles form the air that can affect our breathing. For instance they can remove pollen and dander which are allergens for many people causing sneezing, wheezing and various attacks, and it can also prevent the onset of mold.
In short then your home may look clean, but it certainly is not 'clean enough to eat off of' unless you have regular domestic cleaning services.
