There are three types of kitchen cabinets Orlando.
These are often called stock. They are inexpensive, off the shelf cabinets ready to install and assemble. Many use frameless construction where the door has no lip around it. This is a good money saving option if one is not too choosy about style or does not go for the perfect fit. These models are better for everyday wear and tear than some more expensive models. However many of these basic boxes are thinly veneered particleboard rather than high quality plywood. Style and trim options, sizes and accessories are very limited. A lot of time is required to assemble each set of base and wall cabinets.
These are semi custom models which are a sound choice for many kitchens. These use face frame construction where solid wood shows around the doors and drawers. They offer many made to order custom options, including size, materials, finish, elaborate crown moldings and other trim and accessories like range hood covers. They provide the best value overall. However features and quality may not be very consistent and the boxes maybe veneered particleboard rather than solid plywood.
These are short of custom made to order cabinets which offer the most style and storage options. They come with plywood boxes and other premium materials and hardware. While generally less expensive than the custom units, these models with most features and high quality can cost as much as custom made units.
