Proteolytic Enzymes: What are They?

Proteolytic Enzymes are being touted by many health practitioners, who are advising their patients to start taking them to help with everything from inflammation, and auto-immune conditions, to heart disease, and plaque. So, what exactly are these potent enzymes, and why do you need to know about them.

In order to have an understanding of proteolytic enzymes, first you need to have a basic understanding of the role of enzymes in the human body. To facilitate chemical reactions in the human body, enzymes, which are proteins, are required to do the job. Every single chemical action that takes place in your body requires enzymes. All of your muscles, tissues, organs, bones and cells depend on enzymes.

Your digestive system, immune system, bloodstream, liver, kidneys, spleen and pancreas, as well as your ability to see, think, feel and breathe, all depend on enzymes. All of the minerals and vitamins you eat, and all of the hormones your body produces, need enzymes in order to work properly. In fact, enzymes govern every single metabolic function in your body: your stamina, energy level, ability to utilize vitamins and minerals, immune system and more.

The vast majority of metabolic enzymes in the body – the enzymes that regulate everything from liver function to the immune system – are proteases, or proteolytic enzymes, which regulate protein function in the body. When we eat foods that are enzyme dead (cooked or processed), we force the body to divert its production of enzymes away from proteolytic enzymes, which govern metabolic functions, into digestive proteolytic enzymes designed to break down dead proteins in our diets.

Supplementing with proteolytic enzymes has some distinct health advantages:

* Reduces Inflammation: Can have an immediate impact on heart health, and overall healing.

* Cleanses The Blood Of Debris: Digests organic debris in the circulatory and lymph systems.

* Dissolves Fibrin In The Blood: Reduces the risks of clots. Good for long plane travel.

* Strengthens Immune System: Enzymes are the primary vehicle for destroying invader cells.

* Kills Bacteria, Viruses, Molds and Fungi: Taken between meals, will digest these invaders.

* Dissolves Scar Tissue: Proteolytic Enzymes digest scar tissue.

* Elimination Of Auto-Immune Diseases: Large undigested proteins make their way into the bloodstream, and form CIC’s, circulating immune complexes, which trigger allergies and auto-immune diseases. Proteolytic Enzymes clean these CIC’s out of the body.

Clearly, research shows that proteolytic enzymes have incredible health benefits, which also explains their growing appearance on the shelves of health food stores. However, there is one formula that is one-of-a-kind. It contains a blend of ingredients that have been proven in clinical studies to provide an increase in specific enzymatic activity in the human body. The formula, is the only one in the entire world, to be delivered via an enteric coated liquid filled softgel. The advantages of this are enormous: it enables the nutritive ingredients to make it through the stomach acids, to the small intestine, for maximum absorption.
