So if you are reading this then you are probably going to get a root canal. If you have heard how bad these are then you are probably coming here to look for comfort. You do not necessarily need to have your nerve endings or pulp in your tooth in order to keep your tooth and use it every day. They are not needed after the tooth has fully grown into your mouth. Your root is what keeps your tooth in your gums.

However, your body will naturally respond and fight back against the spread of infection. As your body fights, it can cause severe damage to the bones and the connective tissue that supports your teeth.
