Children can also feel depressed and worried at times and parents may teach them how to perform tapping before they sleep at night. They should also be educated on EFT tapping points that correspond to specific emotions. In most cases, parents can start teaching their children by tapping on their meridians while listening to their everyday problems.

How long should you tap?

Finger tapping EFT practitioners recommend usually takes about a minute or two, just like brushing your teeth. Duration may vary from one person to another, depending on their needs and energy level in their body. Some people need to tap for an hour once or twice a day, while others may tap for a minute and repeat the tapping as many times as they want.
