Advantages of Using Resistance Bands

There may be arguments in favor of weigh lifting machines. However, there is simply no comparison with these bands. In fact a comparative study throws up facts, which tell us about the advantages one faces, while having a workout with the help of these bands.

If one is a frequent traveler, there is simply no alternative to these bands. One can easily take them along on tours. They play an important role in increasing coordination. There is tension throughout the whole exercise. If there is a need to stabilize the body there is simply no alternative. It helps in balance and adds more muscle group. Is there a need for variety? If so there is nothing when compared to these resistance bands. While using weights one is limited as to how many exercises that can be done. However, this is not the case with these bands as one has the liberty to take up positions in multiple ways.

For beginners, there is simply no alternative to these bands. Besides, if one is opting for complex moves these are great to use. Finally everything boils down to the purchase price. Here, the band is way ahead as one will get them within the range of $ 6 to $20. However, there are some concerns if one opts for these bands. While using free weight the gravity does play an important role in deciding when the machine will come down. However, in the case of these bands the tension is permanent. It works like a cable machine. There is constant tension on the muscles. The other disadvantage is that one in cases of bands one will have to go by simply how the feeling is.
