Mists of Pandaria, the latest expansion for World of Warcraft, consists of five zones. They are: the Jade Forest, Valley of the Four Winds, Krasarang Wilds, Kun-Lai Summit, and Vale of Eternal Blossoms. All of these levels are questable and are loaded with rich and beautiful terrains. In this Pandaria leveling guide we will briefly explain each zone.

The first zone is the Jade Forest. This is home to one of the August Celestials, the Jade Serpent who watches over the continent. To help alleviate the chances of being mobbed with the high number of players online, the Horde and the Alliance will start off in different areas. Both factions will be stuck on the continent, the Alliance will begin at an shipwreck location while the Horde will crash their zeppelin. The first order of business will be finding allies since you will only possess a small number of troops, which approximately is about the size of a small platoon.

The next zone is the Valley of the Four Winds and home to another August Celestial, the Red Crane. This area is a large farmland for the populace. The waters that flow from the Vale of Eternal Blossoms are enchanted and rich causing fruits and vegetables to grow abnormally large. The Virmen plague this valley and the farms of the Tillers, one of the Artisan factions which will be encountered in Pandaria. Tillers provide food for the Pandaren. If you help the Tillers take care of the Virmen, you will be rewarded with your own farm.

The third zone is the Krasarang Wilds. The wilds is a dark menacing jungle which empties onto a series of small islands and will serve a few important purposes. One of the races you will encounter is the Mogu, a dog faced race that enslaved the Pandaren thousands of years ago until they were overthrown. However, the Mogu returned to reclaim their empire. You will also run into another new race, the Saurok. These lizardmen were created to by the Mogu to be used as their servants.

Kun-Lai Summit is the next zone and it is watched over by the August Celestial Xuen, the White Tiger. This zone is located in the northernmost zone of Pandaria and in addition to is home to Mount Never-Rest. Kun-Lai is also the current home of the Yaungol, a very distant relative of the Tauren. They have been forced out of their home, Townlong Steppes, by the Mantid race which continues to harrass the Pandaren. You will also encounter Grommles on Kun-Lai Summit. These creatures are created by the Mogu and will aid you to get from one place to another on the peaks. Finally, you will discover the Shado-Pan, the elite warriors of the Pandaren which protects the continent from danger.

The final zone is the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. This level 90 zone is the epicenter of the Mogu empire before they were overthrown. Even after the Pandaren had walled up the Vale to protect the waters from abuse, the remnants of Mogu architecture remained and still can be seen. The palace once ruled by the Mogu emperor remains standing and is designated as a playable dungeon. You will have to team up with the Order of the Golden Lotus; these Pandaren chosen by the Celestials to protect the Vale, to help keep the Vale safe from all of the other forces.
