How Yoga is Beneficial for Children

The term “Yoga” has been translated from the Sanskrit language as yoke or union. Its practical function can be understood as the combination of body, breath and mind. Yoga includes a physical practice of postures and stretches, use of deep breath to calm and center, as well as consciousness in the mind of others regarding what they are feeling and thinking.
