To be a parent is probably the best feeling that one can have during the entire life span. But bringing up a child turns out to be a tough job when kids become uncontrollable. Parents often complain that their kids don’t listen to them and do whatever they wish to do. It was just day before yesterday that I noticed a mother struggling with her little daughter in the departmental store. The little girl asked her mother to buy her the toy displayed on the outlet of the store. When mother denied to fulfill her wish, the little girl started crying and showed tantrums.

The mother tried to control her, but she continued with her stubbornness. So at last the mother bought her the toy and left the store. After the child and the mother left, the whole store start talking about the snobbish behavior of the child. I observed the whole incident and draw the conclusion that kids should be tames and learned good social behavior in a very early age. Toddler tantrums are definitely bothersome behavior and it is only natural that you dread working with those tantrums in public places.

Patience is the core in the process of bringing up a child. Kids often show unacceptable behavior. It is not a very unnatural thing as they can do so out of various reasons. The first duty of the parents is to understand why their child is demonstrating such behavior. Punishing the children or scolding them in front of the public can hurt their self respect and in turn can make a mess of the whole thing. A communication gap between the parents and kids often become the cause of such unacceptable behavior among kids. It is same with each and every child that they are attention seekers.

They cannot resist their parent to ignore them. In such cases, kids use their tantrum to seek the attention of the moms or dads. Moreover, when kids feel bored, hungry, tired, sick or ever stimulated, they start showing tantrums. Taming the kids is more like teaching the kid how to walk. Spending more productive quality time with the kids can help them develop a socially acceptable behavior. Family conflicts can also develop an unacceptable behavior among children. In a research it is found that in families, where parents often fight over small issues, the children of such families develop hatred towards the family life.

They even become afraid of entering the house because of such unhealthy environment inside. Another thing that parents often do is they get involved in arguments with their children. But this should not be done. The child is already upset and on top of that if parents show their rage then it will not help the situation, but make it worse only. In this type of instance, parents need to be very careful and try to cool down the situation as soon as possible. Just talk to the kid, pamper them and know their emotion, it’s a splendid way to avoid these intolerable moments.
