The national law implemented a legislature where all erections of buildings and towers must be appropriately conducted by approved contractors who are qualified. This course has been designed to adult trainees in the construction or tower industry who has at least 6 months of scaffolding and construction experience. This certification is structured such that the participants would be able to attain not only the prestigious CISRS Scaffold card but also the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Accessing Operations & Rigging Scaffolding in Construction.

The course is structured such that the appropriate skills and knowledge are attained to erect, dismantle and use basic scaffolds at the work site.

Course Objectives

This CISRS Part 1 is developed to train candidates to handle various scaffold types that are used in the market; there are independent scaffolds; mobile and static towers; candidates would be equipped with the right skills and knowledge to erect and dismantle various scaffolding structures that can be as high as 6 meters or equivalent to 3 lifts high.

Course candidates would be able to interpret the relevant and latest health and safety regulations as well as apply them appropriately with the right codes of practice.
