The Marvelous Goa Tour with Pleasant Beaches, Carnival and Lots of Fun

Goa is a gorgeous state in western part of the country India. The state is the foremost tourist attraction for people from all over the world. Panaji is the capital city of the state, situated on the banks of river Mandovi. Goa provides warm hospitality to almost millions of travelers every year. Goa is one of the smallest states in India and has an area of about 3700 square kilometers. The city of Goa has a Portuguese outlook and so you will find a fusion of both India and Europe in its way of life. Goa is situated in the Western Ghats and Arabian Sea forms its western coast. Because of this fact Goa has rich vegetation and fauna and incredible beautiful and composed beaches.

Goa has famous Wildlife sanctuaries and National Parks such as Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, Molem Wildlife Sanctuary, Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, Madei Wildlife Sanctuary, Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and on the island of Chorao you will find the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. Animals such as Foxes, wild boars and birds from other countries are found in the forest.

No doubt that beach of Goa is the major tourist attraction and is known for its mind blowing celebrations and festivals. One can also enjoy doing shopping on the beaches of Goa. Some of the famous beaches in Goa are Anjuna beach where all night parties are celebrated, Baga beach, Dona Paula beach, Calangute beach, Candolin beach and Colva beach. One can also undertake motorboat racing in the beaches of Goa. Other trendy beach sports include swimming, volleyball, and angling, fishing and snorkeling.

The Carnival of Goa is celebrated in the month of February and is a foremost tourist attraction. Goa Carnival is all about celebrating with food and drinks and meeting near and dear ones. It’s one of the joyous event held in Goa. The Carnival of the city begins with huge processions, music and danc, people participating in the parade are stunningly dressed. Other individuals are also colorfully dressed. The Carnival is a sight of complete enjoyment and fun. The ending of Carnival is carried out by the performance of dance known as the Red and Black dance.

Goa is well known for its churches which has the Portuguese architecture and primeval temples such as the Shanta Durga Temple, the Mangueshi Temple and the Mahalasa Temple. The Bom Jesus Basilica is the World Heritage site in Goa and it has the earthly remnants of St. Francis Xavier. After every twelve years the carcass is taken out for worship and for community to see.

The city of Goa has majestic forts some of them are Tiracol, Aguada, Chapora and Cabo de Rama. The city also has a small number of museums. The Goa State Museum and the Naval Aviation Museum are the imperative ones. Feni is the most accepted alcoholic drink in the city and is prepared from the fruit of the cashew tree.

There are five-star as well as reasonable hotels, guest houses and lodges one can select from during the Goa tour. It is pleasant to take accommodation near the beach, so that one can enjoy the tranquil and fine-looking sight of the sea.
