There are many tours available whilst visiting this wonderful city, and many of the Tel Aviv hotels offer information and advice to help tourists get the most from their visit.

Cultural Tours

One of the most popular tours takes in the highlights of Israel with a magnificent sight-seeing trip around Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. This is an all-day tour and involves spectacular views from the Mount of Olives, and a chance to witness ancient historic and holy sites such as the Garden of Gethsemane, the Western Wall and the site of the Crucifixion. In addition to this, tourists are able to experience the unique sensation of floating in the Dead Sea, which is believed to have many healing powers.

Heritage Tours

Another highly regarded tour takes in a UNESCO World Heritage Site; tourists can fly to the Red City of Petra to soak up some of the most spectacular views of mountains and ancient architecture anywhere. For those wishing to explore more of the Israeli culture, a tour to Bethlehem is a must, and the Dome of the Rock is one of the world’s most stunning landmarks.

Historical Tours

Other day trips and excursions available include exploring Israel’s ancient Roman cities and ports on the City of David and Underground Jerusalem Tour. Experienced guides take tourists through the Jewish quarter to visit the Zion Gate and Herodian Mansions. Visitors can even see the tomb of King David and the Hall of the Last Supper, an absolute must-see for any tourist.
