Shopping in Pune
If you are a “shop-aholic” Pune is the place for you, especially if you love to negotiate and drive a hard bargain. Fashion Street - One of the city’s special marketplaces, it is well known throughout the region for the wide array of fashion accessories, footwear, garments, and leather items all of which are reasonably priced.
Koregaon Park - This is an area that features several exclusive boutiques, all of which carry some upscale fashion collections that tend to be a bit pricey, although you will find the occasional close-out rack.
Juna Bazaar - Situated close to the Pune Railway Station, the market opens every Wednesday and Saturday and operates like a flea market. The Juna Bazaar features interesting and unique items to bring home from your holiday in Pune.
M.G. Road - Mahatma Gandhi Road is where you are most likely going to find the broadest assortment of items ranging from dinnerware and electronics to furniture and kitchen sinks. The assortment of clothing and household goods is sure to amaze the visitor. Supposedly, every one of India’s cities has an M.G. Road, but not all of them offer the assortment of products and outstanding values that the one here in Pune does. This is a shopping venue that must be experienced while visiting the city.
