Dubai – Homes the tallest building of the world

Dubai has a rich collection of buildings and structures of various architectural styles. Recently there was boom in construction and architectural innovation in Arab world in general and Dubai in particular. This resulted in many modern interpretations of Islamic architecture. Modern Islamic architecture is taken to new levels in skyscraper building design and technology. Dubai now boasts of more completed or topped skyscrapers than any other city. Burj Khalif can be said to be the culmination point of that boom.

You can enjoy the wide sea of sand and reach a vantage point and witness sunset. Afterwards in night will be a dinner complete with song and dance. The places to visit in Dubai are in Old Dubai and Modern Dubai. The prominent places in old Dubai are Al Ahmadiya School in Deira, Bastakiya District, Dubai Museum, Jumeirah Mosque and Shindagha District. Apart from Burj Khalifa and shopping malls, the prominent attractions in modern Dubai are Dubai Fountain, Burj al-Arab Hotel, Dubai Marina and Palm Islands.

There is lot of opportunities for water sports in the white and sandy beaches of Dubai. You can watch Camel races being conducted in Camel Race Tracks. Dubai has now an artificially maintained skiing center. The slope is quite large for an indoor area. Snowboarding can also be had.
