Be Fueled with Inspiration and Experience the MoMA Museum in New York

By DJ Willis Subscribe to RSS | March 30th 2012 | Views:

Not only is New York City the biggest city in the United States, it is also its cultural and economic center. From the early days, it had been where important decisions were made that affected the way that the world economy went, as well as that which was the next trend in the cultural climate. If you visit New York City you'll without doubt discover that this extends into the present day.

One of the greatest attractions in New York City would be the many NYC museums that are located in the city. These aren't small museums that may feature one piece that's kinda well-known, these are museums that are recognized one of the better on the planet. Maybe it's a famous painting or a spectacular dinosaur skeleton, you can find it in New York City.

If you are looking for art and history, New York City has some of the best museums available. A great starting point will be the American Museum of Natural History, which is right off Central Park in Manhattan. Should you be looking for just one of the best collections of natural history, from dinosaurs and ancient human artifacts, you'll find it here.

When it comes to art, you will find three NYC museums which are must visits: the Metropolitan Museum of Art, with more than two million pieces of art; the Guggenheim Museum, called much for its famous architecture as it is its spectacular collection of 20th and 21st Century art; and the renowned MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art), that has several floors or paintings, photographs and odd's and end's that you simply find regularly in art history books.

While you without doubt realize that New York is a huge, sprawling city, you do not quite know how big it really is before you actually see the city close up. Only when you do that are you aware why you will find literally hundreds of museums, big and small, to go to when you are in New York. While it's almost impossible to go to them all, it's worth taking a look at some of the smaller NYC museums which are available.

For instance, why not look into the American Folk Art Museum, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, or even the Children's Museum of the Arts. You might know about the Ellis Island Museum, but how about the Whitney Museum of American Art. With so many different options available, it's not hard to find exactly what you want to see.

New York City is definitely an expensive spot to visit. Of course, you already knew this. While it's great to be aware of this prior to going, you also have to be looking for any deals that you can get towards the attractions that you're visiting. One of the best ways to do that is to locate websites that allow you to buy tickets to many different attractions at once so that you can reduce the acquisition as a whole.

These websites makes it possible for you to pick four or five different attractions at one time, meaning that you can save between 25-50% on each ticket. It's a great way to save money on the NYC museums that you were going to see anyways.
