Wireless Bridge facilitates multiple networks of users to communicate with each other over long distances without connecting wires. These networks can be located in the same building or maybe connected using antennas having a line of sight bridges which are capable of connecting networks up to 30 miles apart. Wireless Ethernet Bridge convert a wired Ethernet device for use on a wireless computer network. These bridges connect to the wired network through the Ethernet port and then replicate data to a remote network bridge using 802.11a/b/g wireless protocols. These bridges are sometimes also referred as wireless media adapters as they enable devices for Wi-Fi utilizing Ethernet.

These bridges support digital video recorders, game consoles and other Ethernet based consumer devices. These bridges do not require a device driver for software installation in order to function; instead settings for network can be made using a browser based administrative interface. These bridges can draw their power from the main cable which is connected to the host device and require a specialized Power over Ethernet (POE) converter to make this work. Without this add-on these bridges will require a separate power cord to operate. Fitted with LED lights this device displays power lights, Wi-Fi status and Ethernet.

This device is so simple to use that you have to simply wait until the LEDs display the best signal strength. With these devices you can achieve high data transfer speeds and ultimate performance that will keep you amazed. All the settings are preconfigured and hence you have to simply unplug your existing Ethernet cable and create a Point-to-Point between devices or networks. With these bridges you won’t experience any latency or throughput bottlenecks. These wireless bridges are secured with WPA 2 and have 128-bit security for point –to-point operation.

The use of these bridges have made wireless networking much more reliable and efficient. They can create a transparent, secure and high speed link between remote stations and central office. These bridges prove to be cost effective as they reduce the hassles and extra cost of replacing the expensive cables that are prone to damage in harsh environments.
