Today, almost everyone has a cell phone. Some people even have a few mobile phones: one for personal use, business use, and maybe even the phones used in other aspects of your life. And most people still have a fixed telephone in your home.

So it's really necessary to have all these phones? Could you please disconnect your landline and save some money. Let's take a look at some pros and cons of each type of telephone service.

Fixed

* Chief of the landline phone service is its reliability. Usually you can be sure to get a good reception in your home. This is important because, when you need to call an emergency, you want to be sure that you can clearly hear and be heard.

* Fixed a permanent monthly rate for local calls, so you do not have to pay a separate fee for each call in your area. This can save you money if you have a regular number of calls from your home.

* If you need your number in the phone book, so people can find you, then the land line is very important. Cell phones, according to the law can not publish forward telephone directory.

Cell Phones

* Because mobile phones use the air waves to receive and transfer calls, they do not have a good acceptance in the absence of an antenna is visible from where you are calling. So it will be dead spots "where not to use your phone.

* Batteries have cell phones because they are not connected to the power line. If you forget to connect your phone to the charger, it would be inappropriate. Of course, this can happen to your land line phone, and if it is wireless.

* There are an infinite number of "plans" using a cell phone. Many carriers allow an unlimited number of minutes, but limit the time during which this provision applies. Some plans offer free long distance, but it may be the maximum number of minutes, or again, you may be limited to a specific day.

* If you travel often or seldom at home, and then fixed in fact may not be necessary, especially if you live in one.

* One big drawback signing up for cellular phone service, the contract may have to pay for services for at least one year or even longer. Cancellation may result in severe penalties. Fixed do not have such a requirement.

If you are using your device in an emergency, for example, call roadside assistance or to be reached when you are out of town, then you need a wireless minutes per month the amount is not very much. If you talk with customers frequently, and use your device as the best home phone contact, you want to increase the amount of minutes you can pay one month's time.

Your coverage area is determined, where you can make and receive calls, so make sure you cover most areas of your wireless phone service. This will give you extremely valuable in itself.
