Recruitment companies – Internal processes
Most people are of the view that recruitment companies restrict their services to only recruitment and hiring processes. This is not true owing to various factors. First of all, in this business, the real asset is the information collected, over a period of time. This information consists of the contacts of many prospective job seekers and vacancies and the contacts of HR department employees of many companies. ‘Information is wealth’ goes a saying that is proved true in this industry. The different other services/processes involved in hiring agencies are dependent on this data and also are to be discussed below.
Recruitment Process Outsourcing
This is a well defined process in which the whole recruitment is pre-defined with transparency across all levels for efficient working within the recruitment team. This process is available across a wide range of sectors all over the world. The main idea of this process is to make the hiring process more efficient, time saving, cost efficient and employer friendly.
Key Performance indicators
This process is very data-centric since it focuses more on creating metrics and measuring assets, resources, efficiency of resources and many other statistically researched data. Using these metrics and measurements, an accurate capability index of the utilized hiring process can be measured. More often than not, the key performance indicators result in cost effective processes and talented quality resources.
Supply chain Management
Since recruitment happens on a large scale for different companies it is highly essential for an efficient supply chain management. This process involves managing logistics for incoming and outgoing employees in the clients’ companies, to put it in a crude manner. This process further includes other sub-processes like database management, research of market trends, building contacts, rating process of candidates and many others.
Logistics optimization calls for budgeted solutions for the demand and supply of resources as per the general market trend. This involves selection of the best candidate for a particular job based on the criteria required and the general preferences of the profiled candidate. Further optimization is applied by optimizing cost and effort for the client.
This is the most valuable process that happens in the recruitment company. Networking, with highly valuable resources in companies, for an upper hand over the recruitment processes of competitor firms. Let us consider, for example, the task of searching for quality resources with a particular skill set. Region wise we select a set of candidates. Now these candidates from each set from each region can be networked with the recruitment team to get better quality talents from across the world with no regional barriers.
Hence, these are the main internal processes within the actual hiring processes to maximize talent search and acquisition.
