Gail Recruitment completely new era of hiring skilled individuals

GAIL India is the flagship natural gas company of India. Various aspects of natural gas are integrated. This includes processing, production and exploration. It also includes marketing, transmission and distribution. There are various other related services as well. GAIL is also involved in a joint venture company with Government of Maharashtra and BG group. This joint venture company is involved in supply of natural gas all over Mumbai. As the scenario is changing rapidly, one will surely move to a completely new era of clean fuel industrialization. Green energy corridors will be created. Major consumption centers will be connected with various LNG terminals, major gas fields and cross border gas sourcing points. Businesses are being expanded so that they become players in the International market. Energetic and promising young graduate professionals and engineers are always required for the success of this organization. Thus, Gail recruitment takes is inviting applications from the candidates for various posts. These posts may come under below fields:

• Mechanical engineering

• Electrical engineering

• Instrumentation engineering

• Chemical engineering

• Civil engineering

• Telemetry engineering

• Human resources

The upper age limit as per the Gail recruitment is 28 years. For ST or SC or PWD candidates, there is a relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years. For OBC candidates, the relaxation in upper age limit is 3 years. For physically handicapped candidate, the relaxation in upper age limit is 10 years. The eligible candidates have to appear for a written test. The list of candidates who are selected will be shortlisted to undergo further process of selection. One can avail the interview or group discussion at the Gail website. These tests will be held in 14 cities. This will be mentioned in the online application system. There are 2 choice centers given to the candidates. GAIL will allot the actual test center. No changes and preferences will be allowed by the candidates. GAIL has the right to cancel or add any center as per its choice. The dates for the written test will be mentioned on the website of the organization. The test will mainly consist of objective questions. There will be 150 multiple choice questions. Two hours will be given for the test. The question booklet will be in English.

The candidates who are appearing for the written test should have the knowledge of the discipline or the subject. He must also have proper knowledge for general aptitude test of 50 questions. There are two sections in the question booklet. There is always a negative marking in this written test. The dates of registration will be mentioned online. To avoid rejection candidate must make sure that the application form, other relevant documents and passport sized photo of the candidate is received by the selection authority with due date. All the eligibility criteria have to be compulsorily fulfilled by the candidates. They will not be judged only on the basis of educational qualifications and the marks scored in the written examination & personal interview.
