The hidden truth of monkeys

Monkeys are one of the many fascinating species that are quite charming as well as annoying. Talking about the relationship of these wonderful mammals with human beings, several evidences are available in many historical and religious books. Traditionally and culturally, these creatures are always portrayed depicting both the positive and negative aspects of people. In India, the multicultural country, one can find the mention of monkeys in the great epic called ‘Ramayana’ that in fact, provided different perceptions held by people towards the creature. Besides, there are also many instances proving the relationships existed between the human beings and monkeys.

The existing relationship between the monkeys and human has two aspects. Taking the positive one first we can say people have become fully used to with the activities of monkey and no longer became anti monkey. There are certain benefits taken from these mammals by human beings. Monkeys being wild animals are often domesticated and certain functions get done by people such as making use of them for laboratory research works even for space mission as well. Since as compared with many other animals these creatures have a vast similarity with human which is the reason they are used for various experimentations. Although the practice of using them in laboratories as well as research works has raised several arguments initiated by animals activists but it is not yet fully over.

The dark side of the monkeys have caused so many impacts of monkey

menace that led to the creation of anti monkey menace attitudes by people. Some of the lively or vibrant instances are the rampage s of monkeys in villages or country sides. Making it more elaborated is the scene during harvesting seasons by people living in hilly areas.

Whatever the crops are grown in the hilly regions by people they have to often keep eyes to the monkeys that come in group eat up food crops as much as they can. People in those areas get anti monkey because of it.

However, such impact is quite different in cities; in the populated cities such as Delhi, there is a huge number of monkey population found. There are reports often coming about the harassment faced by people from monkeys. Huge population of monkey is a threat for children going to school, vendors, as well as every passerby. Most of the time people get angry when they find out their hard earning fruits in the garden missing or torn up. In some occasions monkeys have attacked people in the streets some of which got so fatal that people had to rush to hospitals. There are also various anti monkey menace spikes provided by companies in order to get or drive monkeys away.

These strategic measures in the form of anti monkey spikes are working wonders as once you install these pointed spikes over the roof of your house, the monkeys would have a lot of troubles or be scared of being harmed. So finally they have no chance to visit to your home!
