The benefits and drawbacks of international news

This is the twenty first century and everybody in today's world is ardent and eager to know about the events and issues of the world. This is brought to you by global news. Global news is basically news that has all the recent and current updates about the events that are happening across the globe. It gives you information about every nook and corner of the countries of the world.

International news is projected in different countries in different languages. There are various television channels that feature only world news. You get updates about everything including politics, entertainment, celebrity gossip, stars and their stardom, movie reviews, a sneak peak in to the personal life of the stars, education, law, crime, literature, progress and regress in science and technology, climatic condition of nations, etc.

Global news is also featured on the internet. There are copious and sufficient numbers of news websites and news blogs that deliver you with fresh and most recent news updates of the world. There are photos and videos that are made available on these websites for verification and authentication of the issue. Also, another benefit of online news is that it can be viewed from any part of the world and at anytime. Therefore, online news is very convenient and efficient and helps in saving a lot of time.

One can even subscribe to mobile alerts and get the latest world breaking news on their cell phones within no time. Newspapers too, have separate sections which are especially reserved for all types of international news updates.

Along these years, media has emerged as a super power and people rely on it completely for everything. However, nowadays, media is taking advantage of this power and is misguiding the people in several ways. For instance, sometimes TV news channels broadcast baseless and unwanted issues such as superstar lives, their lavish and luxurious living which is highly unacceptable by the viewers. Also, even the minutest and the most unwanted detail is also, sometimes, featured as breaking world news. If this continues to happen, the masses will lose faith in the media.

Media needs to realize that an overdose of anything can be dangerous and that they should mainly focus on issues of global importance such as poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, child sexual abuse, global warming, etc. so as to make each and everyone aware of the current scenario of every nation.
