It is very common to hear young girls claim to want to become veterinarians when they grow up. However, as soon as the realities of the profession dawn on them, the number of volunteers for the job usually goes down drastically, with only the ones who are truly fit for it remaining. One of those who knew what the job entailed and wasn't fazed by it was Tara Tabie Kim, the daughter of Chinese parents who immigrated into the United States not too long before she was born. Naturally, money was not exactly easy to come by but they managed to keep their heads above the water, and Tabie Kim never for a second forgot who she wanted to become.

When Kim Tara Tabie turned sixteen years old, she already knew that going through studies to become a veterinary would be quite a big deal in the sense that it would take a whole lot of money, not to mention time and effort. Naturally, she didn't let that stop her and soon she found a job at a fast food chain near her. Contrarily to most kids of her age who would just rather spend their money on fun, Tara Tabie Kim started saving it up while spending only on the absolute minimum; it was the only way she would ever get where she wanted to.

With the help of some student loans as well as the money she had saved up Tabie Kim was able to secure her veterinary studies; at that point, it was only a matter of actually going through with them and succeeding. However, that was never a problem for Kim Tara Tabie as she was always a hard-working person, ready to do everything it takes to overcome the obstacles placed in front of her.

Thankfully, Tara Tabie Kim passed her exams with flying colors and opened up her own veterinary clinic, becoming quite renowned locally as not only being extremely professional, but also for being generous as she often offered treatment for pets whose owners didn't have enough money to pay. It took a lot of long days and sleepless nights for her to get there, but in the end it was really more than worth it.
