Prefabricated means those whose installation or set-up is done after its complete fabrication. These are also known as prefab homes. These can be easily formed & can be assembled at off-sites. Its architecture is of postmodernism or futurist architecture type. Postmodernism defines a concept which deals with a wide range ideals, methods & practices. It is not a philosophy but rather it’s a path of using traditional views & ideas in non-traditional way in our life. It co-relates our past to our present.

Modular homes are such type of homes which are created in small & big sections & then transported to the home site(where the house is to be made) for the section joining & installation. Manufactured homes are built onto steel beams to form complete sections which are carried to the home site & then these sections are assembled(joined). These types require a large amount of labor. Mobile homes are the most easiest & preferable one. It is built on wheels that can be moved easily from one place to another. It acts as a portable home.

Till now it was all about the overview & casting of prefabricated containers but now we should know that in which part of these world are these homes manufactured & used mostly & why?? These kind of homes are generally found in the regions of U.K and North America. In North America most of the homes are found to be made of wooden as because it’s cheap & can be easily re-formed. This is a type of modular prefabricated containers. Also, we can find that in U.K. (mostly in London) these types of homes are found since the time of second world war. As per data 1, 56,000 prefabricated containers are found in U.S.A. But it has a disadvantage that these homes can’t be built everywhere. For its construction one must check before some laws that governs it otherwise the house will be illegal & can be broken into any time. This homes are certainly not found in Asian & Australian countries because their government doesn’t permit. So these containers are useful, easier to construct & can also be communicated. So these prefabricated containers should be used everywhere for our life to be simpler & cheaper.
