Muslim Charity, as the name very clearly suggests, is one of the most prominent international development and relief NGO or non-governmental organization that aims primarily to alleviate the suffering of poorest Muslim people worldwide. Apart from responding to emergencies and disasters, the organization also conducts long and short-term development projects, irrespective of religion, gender or race.

For those who did not know, Muslim Charity is actually a registered organization for muslim charities in the United Kingdom. Founded in the year 1999 by a man named Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada, the organization has grown in leaps and bounds, helping countless distressed Muslim people find relief and a new ray of hope. It was one of the most prominent organizations to establish the key goal of getting poverty among Muslims alleviated altogether. Their focus, through the years, has remained in Pakistan. The organization has provided aid to hundreds of thousands of people around the world. It was instrumental in offering relief to the victims of the 2004 Tsunami and the 2005 Earthquake in Pakistan.

After the 2004 Tsunami, Muslim Charity provided assistance through an innovative orphan sponsorship program. The road for this NGO, however, did not end here. The organization further went on to construct a village for close to hundred homeless, destitute people. Known as the Al-Karam village, this place now comprises of a mosque and a school. Founder of the trust Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada himself paid a visit to Kashmir and Pakistan to supervise the charity work conducted by his organization.

Education, Health and people-these are the three main pillars on which muslim charity stands today. Their main vision is to create a peaceful world where people can enjoy life with good health. Over time, the organization has helped relocate and aid Muslim people in many ways. The NGO has established a group of hospitals in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan. As of now, their activities can be divided under several prominent heads like establishment of medical centre, establishment of hospitals, free medical camps, health awareness and medical advocacy, ambulance services for the poor and needy, and provision of free medical supplies.
