Different types Hotels at Hyderabad

Hotel at Hyderabad operations vary in size, function, and cost. Most hotels and major hospitality companies that operate hotels have set widely accepted industry standards to classify hotel types. General categories include the following:

1. Conference and resort hotels:

Conference and resort hotels at Hyderabad are hotels which often contain full-sized luxury facilities with full-service accommodations and amenities. These hotels may attract both business conferences and vacationing tourists and offer more than a convenient place to stay. These hotels may be referred to as major conference center hotels, flagship hotels, destination hotels, and destination resorts. The market for conference and resort hotels is a subject for market analysis. These hotels as destinations may be characterized by distinctive architecture, upscale lodgings, ballrooms, large conference facilities, restaurants, and recreation activities such as golf or skiing. They may be located in a variety of settings from major cities to remote locations.

2. Historic Inns and boutique hotels

Boutique hotel and historic inns is a term popularized in North America and the United Kingdom to describe hotels which often contain luxury facilities of varying size in unique or intimate settings with full service accommodations. Sometimes these are known as "design hotels" or "lifestyle hotels". These are often individual and focused on offering their services in a comfortable, intimate, and welcoming setting, so they are therefore extremely unlikely to be found amongst the homogeneity of large hotel. Guest rooms and suites may be fitted with telephone and Wi-Fi Internet, air-conditioning, and often cable/pay TV, but equally may have none of these, focusing on quiet and comfort rather than gadgetry. Many of them have on-site dining facilities, and the majority offer bars and lounges that may also be open to the general public. Boutique hotels have typically been unique properties operated by individuals or companies with a small collection.

3. Select or Limited Service hotels

Select or Limited-service Budget hotels in Hyderabad have rooms-only operations or offer a bedroom and bathroom for the night, but very few other services and amenities. These hotels are often in the budget or economy group and do not report food-and-beverage revenue. This segment has been the fastest growing hotel segment over the past years due to consumer drive for affordable accommodations that still offer the necessary or most frequently utilized creature comforts of the full-service hotel. One of the appeals of select or limited service hotels is ease and relative simplicity of development, generally incorporating fewer rooms and fewer ancillary spaces making them less expensive and more efficient from a developer standpoint. In addition the lack of restaurant facilities makes these properties easier to run for owner/operators and improves net operating income.

4. Extended Stay hotels

Extended stay hotels are a type of lodging with features unavailable at standard hotels. These features are intended to provide more home-like amenities. There is substantial variation among extended stay hotels with respect to quality and the amenities that are available. Some of the economy chains attract clientele who use the hotels as semi-permanent lodging. Extended-stay hotels typically have self-serve laundry facilities and offer discounts for extended stays. Extended stay hotels are popular with business travelers on extended assignments, families in the midst of relocation, and anyone else in need of temporary housing. Extended stay hotels are also used by travelers who appreciate the larger space a typical suite provides.

5. Timeshare hotels

Some timeshare companies own certain units in various resort hotels and make these units available to their customers, who are typically called "timeshare owners." Those owners pay a purchase price that buys an annual allotment of time at the hotel usually in weekly periods.

6. Destination Club

Destination club is a form of fractional ownership similar to a time share. In a destination club, members pay a large initiation fee, which may be fully or partially refundable should they leave the club, and yearly maintenance fees in exchange for the right to spend time at properties owned by the club. The properties range from upscale vacation homes in desirable areas to cabins on cruise ships
