Complete Process to Become Ford Dealer

Despite plenty of competition from Japan, Korea and Germany, the Ford Motor Company, one of America's original automobile manufacturers, has maintained its image and market share through meteoric industry ups and downs. This is partly possible due to the large and worldwide network of Ford dealers. These dealers not only sell the new brand ford cars but are also involved in the business of used Ford cars.

Also most of the car makers have replaced their energy consuming vehicles with energy saving models making it easier for the Ford dealers to sell them to members of the public. There are many people aspiring to become Ford dealers in Sydney due to the growing market and the amount of profit that is in the business. The entire process of become a Ford dealer can be explained in steps as follows:

1.Draw up a standard business plan which includes all of the standard sub-sections of a solid business plan.

2.Contact the Ford Motor Company in Sydney and present them a plan of your desire to become one of the Ford dealers in Sydney.

3.Request the Ford Motor Company's franchise package - a compilation of legal, operational and marketing agreements and practices that stipulate your guidelines for doing business under the brand name not only to sell new cars but also used Ford cars.

4.It is necessary to check the zoning laws in your area before you finalize a specific location to be a part of the Ford dealer’s community, even if Ford approves the location.

5.Find underwriting. Ford Motor Company requires a substantive initial investment to acquire a franchise. One must gather a group of investors not only for start-up funding but also improving chances of getting the business plan approved.

6.Handle all the paperwork, may it be financial or legal that are a pre requisite to start your journey in the world of Ford dealers and keep it up and running for that first critical year of business.

7.Get training from the on the ins and outs of owning a dealership of Ford cars.

8.Costs and coverage need to meet the business objectives by meeting commercial bond and insurance brokers.

9.Complete the build-out of your dealership, erect signs, install office set-ups, service bays, complete a parts department build-out and segment the showroom space

10.Employees which are as passionate as you need to be hired to take forward your dreams.

11.Populate the lot with cars and trucks. Put into place the marketing and advertising plan.
